East China Normal University (ECNU) is\nrecognized as one of Shanghai\u2019s top public research universities under the\npatronage of the Ministry of Education, and is included in China\u2019s national\neducation projects, \u201cProject 211\u201d and \u201cProject 985\u201d. This featured language program is designed\nfor those who will or have already engaged in business career under\nChinese-related background. We customize a series of courses to help you obtain\na larger vocabulary and specialized knowledge of business purpose. Through this\nprogram, the students\u2019 capabilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing\ncentred around business Chinese\u2019s proficiency would be greatly improved at the\nsame time. The diverse classes fit the pragmatic needs and use for the\nstudents, who will learn appropriate and idiomatic expressions, as well as\ngrasp practical communication skills in business surroundings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Course contents include Pinyin, elementary\nvocabulary, grammar, as well as basic daily communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Student will be able to obtain a better\nunderstanding of Chinese culture and society and experience different types of\ncity life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The courses focus on the improvement of\nlistening, speaking, reading and writing skills, integrated with innovative\nteaching methodology, like games, activities and multimedia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Course features:<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the form of small group instruction,\naround 20 students in one class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Diverse courses, meeting the different\nneeds of students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Systematic and strict management, caring\nabout the learning efficiency and feedback of the students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In order to let students get to konw the\nculture and history in Southern part of China,will organize a one-day trip to\nXi tang(a famous water town near Shanghai) on Jan.4(Sat).<\/p>\n\n\n\n East China Normal University has set up\nregular short-term programs with many foreign universities and educational\ninstitutions every year, like the UC system, University of Virginia, Colorado\nState University, University of Delaware, CIEE, etc. Besides, it has\nsuccessfully undertaken the Study China Program sponsored by the British\nGovernment since 2008, over 1000 British students have come to study through\nthis program during the past 8 years. The content of the tailored program can\nbe planed and adjusted upon mutual negotiation on the way of its cooperation,\nstudy period, teaching language, and curriculum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This Four-week Program is designed to help\nforeign students to understand better of China’s current changes and\ndevelopments, as well as the standard living of ordinary Chinese families. This\nwill provide an in-depth study and experience in Shanghai’s unique charm of\n“a wonderful fusion between traditional and modern “.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This program will be made up of small\ngroups of classmates to help international students have both a strong studying\nenvironment as well as be fully induced in all aspects of Chinese language,\nculture and traditions. Classes have been arranged to include several Shanghai\nbusiness visits and lectures to help experience all of China’s most powerful\neconomic pulses. This will also bring the outstanding Chinese and foreign\nstudents together in which they can pair up for a one-on-one and promote the\nexchanges and mutual understandings between on another. The Most Important\nparts of this project is to show the local quality of life within the two-weeks\nhome-stay experience and establish a\n“Temporary parent-child relationship and understanding” concept.\nThrough the “basic necessities” all-round, a prolonged contact\nthroughout the program allows students to experience a real-life close-depth\nsituation in an ordinary Chinese family, thereby depicting the acceptance of\nauthentic Chinese culture and influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The program is intended to train seeded\nteachers of Chinese Language Education for OBOR(One Belt and One Road)\ncountries, introducing Chinese language and Chinese culture in order to promote\nmulti-national understanding and exchanges. The program aims to foster seeded\nteachers who are engaged in local Chinese language education, contributed to\ncope with the shortage of highly qualified Chinese teachers in OBOR countries.\nThe program will help to enhance their expertise on Chinese language education,\nimproving their teaching skills so as to enable them to be more confident in\ntheir teaching career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This course focuses on the theories and\nfacts about basic education as well as Chinese educational system.
