In regards to its global\noutlook, ECNU values its cooperation and exchanges with international counterparts,\nsuch as its strategic cooperative partnerships with world-renowned universities,\nsuch as he ENS Group of France, New York University, University of Virginia,\nand Cornell University in the U.S.A.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As of March 2018, the university has\nenrolled 14,856 full-time undergraduates, 2,969 doctoral students, 16,327\npostgraduates and 2,274 international students. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Language Programs:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Standard Chinese Program: The standard Chinese language program is\ndesigned for students who want to know more about Chinese culture and improve\ntheir Chinese language skills.The classes stress the equal importance of\nlistening, speaking, reading and writing Chinese in order to lay a solid\nfoundation for students on the basis of practicality.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Time of class: From Mon. to Fri., 20 class\nhours a week(45min\/class hour)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Intensive Chinese Program:<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Intensive courses at a faster pace, intended for those who want to learn the most in the shortest time.<\/li><li>Focusing on the improvement of listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, integrated with innovative teaching methodology, like games, activities and multi-media.<\/li><li>In the form of small group instruction, less than\u00a025 students in one class.<\/li><li>Diverse courses, meeting the different needs of students.<\/li><li>Systematic and strict management, caring about the learning efficiency and feedback of the students.<\/li><li>Frequent lectures, cultural activities and group competitions, creating a positive as well as comfort language study atmosphere.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Chinese-English Bilingual Program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Improve both Chinese and English levels at the same time.<\/li><li>In the form of small group instruction with less than 25 students in one class.<\/li><li>Some English classes instructed by native speakers in a total immersion and easy-going atmosphere.<\/li><li>High-tech teaching modle enables learning through a practical and interesting way.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Business Chinese Program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This featured language program is designed\nfor those who will or have already engaged in business career under\nChinese-related background. We customize a series of courses to help you obtain\na larger vocabulary and specialized knowledge of business purpose. Through this\nprogram, the students\u2019 capabilities of listening, speaking, reading and writing\ncentred around business Chinese\u2019s proficiency would be greatly improved at the\nsame time. The Most Important\nparts of this project is to show the local quality of life within the two-weeks\nhome-stay experience and establish&nbsp; a\n&#8220;Temporary parent-child relationship and understanding&#8221; concept.\nThrough the &#8220;basic necessities&#8221; all-round, a prolonged contact\nthroughout the program allows students to experience a real-life close-depth\nsituation in an ordinary Chinese family, thereby depicting the acceptance of\nauthentic Chinese culture and influence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>2019 OBOR International Chinese Language Education Seeded Teacher Certificate Program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is intended to train seeded\nteachers of Chinese Language Education for OBOR(One Belt and One Road)\ncountries, introducing Chinese language and Chinese culture in order to promote\nmulti-national understanding and exchanges. The program aims to foster seeded\nteachers who are engaged in local Chinese language education, contributed to\ncope with the shortage of highly qualified Chinese teachers in OBOR countries.\nThe program will help to enhance their expertise on Chinese language education,\nimproving their teaching skills so as to enable them to be more confident in\ntheir teaching career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>International Development: Internship Program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This course focuses on the theories and\nfacts about basic education as well as Chinese educational system.
