It is one of the\nhighest ranked universities in China. Peking University is also known for\noutstanding research facilities and highly qualified teachers and researchers\nwith extensive research interests and in-depth knowledge. Peking University\nenjoys an excellent academic reputation, attracting top scholars and students\nfrom China and all over the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There were also approximately 6,712\nlong-term international students from 116 different countries enrolled in\nvarious programs on campus; among whom 2,742 were Degree-Seeking students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programs<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>International students have the following options of study at Peking University:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>(1) Undergraduate or graduate degree-granting programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Undergraduate<\/li><li>Master Programs<\/li><li>Ph.D Programs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(2) Visiting students program (non-degree granting):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Visiting<\/li><li>Research Scholar<\/li><li>Cooperative Programs<\/li><li>Chinese Language Programs<\/li><li>Departmental Programs<\/li><li>English Taught Programs<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(3) Pre-university program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Pre-University<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>(4) Short-term language courses or Chinese studies programs:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>Chinese Language Summer School<\/li><li>PKU Summer School International<\/li><li>LSE-PKU Summer School<\/li><li>Globex Julmester Program<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with good health, valid passport, above the age of 18, and should abide by Chinese law and the regulations of Peking University.
