Boya Chinese (博雅汉语)

Another popular material for learning Chinese is Boya Chinese, which is compiled by a group of experienced teachers from Peking University. This learning material is divided into four proficiency levels (elementary, pre-intermediate, intermediate and advanced). The pre-intermediate level is compatible with HSK levels 5-6, while the intermediate level with HSK levels 7-8. The final and advanced level has three volumes containing a vocabulary of about 8,000 words. It focuses on identifying synonyms, common sentence patterns and difficult words.
